It all started with a face oil i bought online…
It was super effective and super expensive. I looked at the list of ingredients and i was like “yeah, I can make this”. And so I bought the raw ingredients INCLUDING some that were Alaska-sourced and blended the oils and tried it out. It was incredible. I was shocked. I gave some away to friends. They were impressed. (I don’T think they were faking it) I began to see the world in things that i could POTENTIALLY make and make it my own way with Alaska INGREDIENTS.
My husband bought me a soap making kit. he made the first batch with me becuse i was scared of the sodium hydroxide (lye). Despite the intimidating INGREDIENTS, i was hooked. Making soap became a bit of an addiction. I made more, gave it to friends. It snowballed into me selling it. And now we’re here at the part where i need a website to unload even more.
Oh and i also make candles, salves, lip balms and some other rad stuff.
